Former road warrior, road trippn junkie who drove (on a one year long road trip inside a 1979 chevy malibu classic station wagon dressed as an american flag) thru all 50 states in 99 for the Travel Channel who was then diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and then decided to hike the 2,000 mile Appalachian Trail in 2001 thru all 4 seasons for a year and 23 days. After that got addicted to long distance walking and on Jan 4th, 2004 began the first steps of a 10,000 mile journey in Key West, FL as i attempt to circumnavigate the globe (that's right the planet!) on foot.
