Morocco - land of adventure, medieval cities, remote villages, mountains, Berbers, snake charmers, donkeys and .... um .... 'rocks' according to Flinn, age 5, who frequently tells me that "Mo - rocc - o - that means lots of rocks mama!"

Marrakesch, Morocco - Unexpected Tips .....
We finally finished our packing after much rearranging of 'stuff' and even managed to get all the zips and buckles shut - courtesy of both Imogen AND Flinn sitting on top the packs and accompanied by lots of grunting, groaning, huffing, puffing - and sorry to have to say, the odd swear word or three - bad enough swearing at a person, let alone an inanimate object! I believe a couple of kicks were also aimed in the direction of our kit, my motto being, when in doubt and all else fails, a couple of swift kicks may help - even if it's only to vent your frustration!

We stood back, red faced, staring at our packs with baited breath, waiting for them to explode. They didn't and we breathed a collective sigh of relief. Fingers and toes crossed, we offered up prayers to the travel fairies and allah - whoever would listen, that our gear would survive in tact, w
