TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They set out the terms on which you may put photos and travel diaries on the Globenotes Website (http://www.globenotes.com). Last updated 24 April 2005.

By creating an account on the Globenotes Website (http://www.globenotes.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A user who violates these Terms and Conditions may have their account suspended with immediate effect.

You may not use your Globenotes.com member account to...

- host pictures containing nudity or pornography.
- display content which may be deemed offensive to any group.
- display content promoting illegal activities or physical injury against any group.
- advertise or display banners or engage in any commercial activity through the site.

Only one account allowed per person.

Globenotes.com reserves the right to disable or remove any users who violate these Terms and Conditions.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Globenotes.com will respect the privacy of your personal information and undertakes to comply with all applicable Data Protection legislation currently in force.

In relation to the personal information provided by you on registration, you agree that Globenotes.com may use such information in accordance with the purposes for which Globenotes.com has obtained your permission upon registration.


THE USER'S OBLIGATIONS:

The contents of user travelogues are not reviewed in any way before they appear on GlobeNotes. 
Globenotes.com reserves the right to remove any page from the system which is brought to our attention and which we find, in our sole discretion, violates these page content guidelines, or otherwise is in violation of the law.

The user may not post any travel diary entries or photos on the Globenotes.com Website that contain offensive language or imagery, or anything deemed as being obscene, pornographic, threatening, harassing or defamatory by the management of Globenotes.com.

The user is responsible for the content of photos posted by the user on the Globenotes.com Website and agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Globenotes.com, it sofficers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third party information providers to the Globenotes.com Website from and against any or all losses, expenses, damages and costs including legal fees resulting from any violation of these Terms and Conditions, or any activity relating to your account by you or any other person accessing the Globenotes.com Website through your account.

The user agrees to only use the Globenotes.com Website in a manner that is consistent with these Terms and Conditions and in a way that complies with all applicable laws and regulations.


GLOBENOTES.COM OBLIGATIONS:

Globenotes.com agrees to use its reasonable endeavous to maintain the Globenotes.com Website in a fully operational status without errors.

Globenotes.com cannot guarantee fault free operation of the Globenotes.com Website and does not accept liability for any defects which may exist, or for any economic losses (including loss of revenues or profits), loss of goodwill or reputation or any special, indirect or consequential losses you may suffer which arise from your use of the Globenotes.com Website or your inability to access the Globenotes.com Website.

The services provided by the Globenotes.com Website are provided without any warranties or guarantees unless otherwise specifically stated.

In the event that the Globenotes.com Website displays or advertises promotions, services or products which are offered by third parties ("promoters"), and you attempt to purchase such products or services or take advantage of such promotions, then unless explicitly stated by Globenotes.com, the users contractual relationship is with the promoter.
Should any dispute arise between you and the promoter, Globenotes.com will use reasonable efforts to assist you in resolving the dispute but takes no responsibility for its settlement, nor for any loss or damages that you may incur arising from such dispute.

The Globenotes.com Website may contain links to other websites. Globenotes.com is unable to take responsibility for the content of such websites.

Globenotes.com reserves the right at its discretion to remove and/or decline to store any material you post on the Globenotes.com Website.

Globenotes.com reserves the right to forward any photos posted by you (together with your personal details if requested) to the police or other regulatory authorities, where requested by them to do so or to a third party where ordered to do so by a Court Order.


COPYRIGHT & MEDIA OWNERSHIP:

The user may only upload media to the Globenotes.com Website where the user is the owner or copyright holder of the media.

All media the user uploads to the Globenotes.com Website remains the property of the copyright holder. No title of ownership at any time passes to or is implied to pass to Globenotes.com.

The user grants Globenotes.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully-paid perpetual license to use all media the user uploads to and makes public on the http://www.globenotes.com website. This license allows Globenotes.com to redistribute, sell, loan, copy, post, publish, re-publish user media, in whatever format whether digital, printed or via a broadcast system such as Internet, Television, Interactive Television or any other distribution vector the management of Globenotes.com deems fit.

The user acknowledges that certain media, concepts, designs, layout and methods of operations pertaining to the Globenotes.com Website are Copyright (c) Globenotes.com.


PRICING:
Globenotes.com reserves the right to alter prices at any time for membership and services.


REFUND POLICY:
At the moment, we do not have a refund policy. If you have any queries regarding payments for accounts, please mail your query to admin@globenotes.com
