WOW... WOW...

I love the bright lights of Vegas. This place is out of control.

We arrived on the Friday night (after our quick change of plans) and made our way to the main strip about 10pm, at this point all the casinos were lit up and it was amazing to see the millions of lights and stunning buildings. I was so shocked at how big the strip was and how many casinos there were. We drove up and down a few times looking around seeing all the different casinos from the MGM, the Bellagio , New York New York and many more.

We started our night at Caesars Palace then a few smaller casinos and before we knew it it was 3am and time to go home before our trip to Death Valley. All of the casinos give free drinks while you play (you just give a $1 tip to the waitress) so I enjoyed a few of these but not too many as I had to drive.

After a little sleep in we drove out of Vegas to Death Valley (a short 300 mile trip). This place is the hottest place in America with a top recorded temp of 145. The day we went it topped out at 112 (45 degrees) so needless to say everything was dead and dryed up. The area consists of miles and miles of rocks ranging in color and shape it was a very cool (not in temprature haha) place but way too hot for us to spend a lot of time.

Saturday night brought us back to Vegas and we decided to try our hand at blackjack again and see if we could win back some of the money we lost the night before. We started off ok but as the night went on we started to go down hill and soon we had lost our original steak and decided to call it a night.

Lucky for us we were to come back to Vegas the next weekend to meet Snowy (maybe then we will have more luck). I will tell you some more about Vegas then, but it was a crazy place.
