"Not long (in the big scheme of things) after we first met, Tish swept me off my feet by taking me to Venice....Oh no, that was me. In return Tish offered to take me round the world...if she won the lottery. But that didn't happen, and we decided, what the hey, we'll go anyway!!! So feel free to come and visit us, but remember not to overstay your welcome ;-)." -Owen

"Some time after we first met, Owen was at a loss for who to take to Venice (he was about to go on his own) so I took pity on the poor loser and look where it's got me, I have to spend a whole YEAR in his company. Please come and visit us (ME) for as long as you can...please, please, PLEASE!!!" -Tish

So, the Australian stage of love-spreading has come to an end. We shall be venturing into the darker, unknown depths of Asia on July 19th 2007. Exploring:

Thailand (with Stu)
Cambodia
Vietnam
Laos
China (with Shannon) (with Maggie)
Taiwan
and Japan

The other countries are still available if you wish to join!

From Cherry (22 Apr 2008)
Hi ,Tish and Owen, it's a pity that I don't have your e-mail address. If I am not wrong , Tish's birthday is around the corner. Tish, Happy birthday to you!
Response (23 Apr 2008)
Hey Cherry! It's very clever that you remembered a birthday..but it was Owen's! It was actually on the 20th, but it's amazing that you still sent a message! If you read this again, our email addresses are on the left of the screen, in the profile box.

Hi Cherry, it's great to hear from you! We miss you & Phoenix too! Yangshuo was so great for us with so many lovely people. Glad you remembered our speech, I was afraid it might be 'as useful as a chocolate teapot'! Keep in contact, much love, Owen & Tish

From hugh (13 Oct 2007)
I'm looking at your blog while drinking a beer and eating beef as a dinner and thinking the day with you.
From hugh (13 Oct 2007)
you are doing a thing that you will not leave regret in your life. I am looking froward to it. I would like to do the same thing someday, but who will be with me.
Response (14 Oct 2007)

Response (9 Oct 2007)
Hey buddy, can't believe you're a Dad! That's both crazy and great...just imagine, a mini Irish running around the basketball court...in no time at all he could be friends with and on the same team as all Dave's illegitimate children!!! ;)

Hey Rosie! Most of the students we talked to already knew English, but needed to practice it in conversation, and maybe learn some extra stuff, as they don't know ALL the words in the language yet!
