The start of the Eastern Europe leg!

Well where was I?! Right we headed to Bath for a couple of nights. Bath was such a beautiful place, we both really enjoyed looking at the cool sights such as the amazing Roman Baths and the Museum of fashion (random). We also went on a 1/2 day tour to stonehenge and lacock (pronounced laycock). The weather was really nice and we actually got sun for most of the tour so the trip through the cotswalds was so nice! Love the little thatched houses. Unfortunately by the time we reached stonehenge it was SO cold and windy. Needless to say we had a quick look round and listened to the audio guide then jumped back into the bus to warm up. To be honest I found it a bit overrated, seemed much bigger in pictures. At least we can say we've done it now!

After our time in Bath we headed back to London for a night. Here we met up with Felicity, a friend from NZ. After finally finding the hostel we headed in to get tickets to a show that night. We ended up going to Mary Poppins of all things but was so much fun! Show's here have amazing effects! For instance the show included fireworks, a man tap dancing on the ceiling, fantastic sets and really good singing and dancing. So glad we went and at 26 pounds it was a really good deal (went to half price place). The next day we had a mission getting to Heathrow airport. We left the hostel at 11am to catch the underground. Had to catch a couple of tubes and it was really weird cause just when we were getting close to the airport they suddenly announced that the tube was no longer going there and we all had to get off and wait for another train to come! Weird to change the route mid way! Apparently this is quite typical of the underground in London. Well eventually made it and had to wait for ages as usual. Even when we got on the plane it was delayed on the tarmac for over 40mins! Oh well used to things taking time now.

Made it to Prague about 6pm (5pm London time) and it was -5 degrees. Not actually too bad though as no wind so felt warmer. Had another mission to get on train and metro into town, interesting dealing with language barrier again but most ppl here at least speak a bit of English. I'm so happy to be back here! It's so beautiful and the xmas markets are all up now - this means lots of mulled wine and yummy food! Am also glad to be out of the UK now as was getting extremely expensive! Love coming here where a meal is like 4 euro (8 NZ dollars) instead of 7 pounds (21 NZ dollars), makes a difference!
Tonight we are catching an overnight train to Krakow, Poland. We leave at 8.10pm and arrive about 6.30am. This is my first experience on an overnight train so should be interesting.

Better get going now as going to try put my photos on a CD. Also my hands are so numb that its hard to type at the moment! No snow yet but I'm sure we'll get some in Poland, bring on the white christmas!
