Going Wild from Arusha to Nairobi

More time on the truck after the great time on Zanzibar to get us to Arusha, where I held a baby crocodile, wriggly it was too! This was followed by an amazing two days game driving in the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, where we saw the Big 5 on the first day and loads of other wildlife, including a leopard cub climbing a tree and 5 lion cubs! We almost saw a kill as we watched a pride of 5 lions reach some rocks when a small impala leapt out of a bush, but the chase was not successful. We did hear a cool growl though and got some great shots!
In Kenya now and went into Nairobi this morning but it's only a quick stop as we leave tomorrow, 10 of us from the last trip and the rest of the truck newbies, for the final 2 week leg visiting the Maasai Mara, Uganda to trek the gorillas and then various lakes , where at one we will see thousands of pink flamingos! Not long till I will be on a plane and flying home - eeek!!!
