Home sweet home.

Just a quick update to let all of you know there is a life after travelling. Just a different one. Taking a year off in the middle of our careers was the best decision ever and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has that dream. Your life will not fall apart when you come back. You will return refreshed, open minded & in love with life.

Andrew now has a great job. Has been working for a few weeks at a large law firm & although he is still in the 'overload' period, he is doing really well. I'm particularly pleased that he brought home lots of Molton Brown products & a Vogue from his hotel room on a recent business trip. Very well trained. So proud of him.

We are still loving being home and this past weekend was spent at B&Q & Ikea. A far cry from our experiences on our trip - but fun in a different way. We are now enjoying our travels through our friend's trip -

For those who were wondering... food is still as central as it ever was & I now remember what I loved about London. You can get anything, anytime, anywhere. Tuscan tomatoes? Burgundy truffles? Madagascan vanilla pods?

It's all there - just waiting to be had.
