Salar de Uyuni Day 3 and onward to Chile!

BITE-SIZED ENTRY

Freezing early morning start. I stupidly wore just sandals so almost got frostbite in the -5C weather!

Geysers and huge sulphurous lava formations spewing boiling mud into the air. Dangerous enough to walk around.. although was tempted to jump in with my freezing feet!

You could even touch the hot air spouting out of some of the geysers...

SLR Camera got sprayed in hot mud... doh!

Some more lagoons and volcano shots, plus an area where you can see Chile, Argentina and Bolivia in one 360 degree view!

We then visited a hot spring pool (which was actually tiny... about 5 metres radius... as well as packed solid with backpackers). It was cool (well hot), although getting out was noticably painful, not to mention trying to get changed. I just sodded it and got nekkid in front of the 40 or so onlookers Laughing

Ventured for Chilean border ... bumped into the 4 Irish girls on the bus again...

Moiagasm!

After previously dipping my toes in Latin America via trips to Cuba and Central America, it's time to go for the big splash! 3 1/2 months to take in as much as I can, armed with little more than my camera, laptop and a few dodgy Spanish phrases.
