Quickest trip to the airport ever
Well today our travels came to an end, however we did have one final treat in store before getting the plane and that was a trip to the airport on the Maglev train. It travels the 30 km from Shanghai out to the airport in 8 minutes, reaching a top speed of 431 kph.
The one down side of travelling on the Maglev is that you need to use the metro system to get to it. Trust me using the metro in the middle of the Shanghai rush hour with a large backpack is not fun.
