Guesthouses and fravellers rule.

Last night in Chiang Mai, I got a great room at a much sought after guest house, Julie Guest House.  We took a sweet motorbike ride out to the waterfalls and then wandered the Sunday Night Walking Street... basically, an outdoor market with food, music, handicrafts, and clothing.  Then, we did a bit of bar hopping and got completely lost in the Old Fort area... quite an adventure.

Quick stop at an internet cafe between a couple of night spots with my two new fravellers (friend + traveller).  Ana is Dutch and Jason is from the Channel Islands.  Staying at a great bungalow on the river.  Tomorrow, I hope to go on an elephant trek at one of the few reputable and humane elephant sanctuaries.  I may even get to swim with the elephant in a local river!

Look out for more details and pictures when I get settled in Hyderabad, India in a few days.
