Happy St Paddys Day!
HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY TO EVERYONE!
The second day of the Mekong Delta tour took in the massive floating markets on the outskirts of Can Tho. It was chaotic to the extreme but lots of fun! Cool photos on the way....
Today, being Paddys Day, was quite "festive" on the boat to say the least.. myself, a Brit, a Swede and a Frenchman were guzzling down beer in the back and had a few once we arrived on port for lunch.
Later in the day we arrived in Ho Chi Minh city (sharing a 4 bed room) and went out to the local Irish pub in Saigon, Sheridans Irish House! The place was tiny and packed but the live band was good craic (5 Vietnamese fronted by a burly Irishman singing RA songs... pretty funny to watch)
