Happy Halloween everyone! Unfortunately its not celebrated in the merry land of Oz but Ill still be heading out this avo to watch Ireland take on Oz in the International Rules Football match in preparation for Irelands triumphant win over Oz in the rugby tommorrow!
Im still in Geraldton 2today... was going to head to Perth today but got a bit delayed exploring the brilliant Western Australian Museum in town - in fact this is my second day to visit this museum since it took up much of my time yesterday and has some excellent displays of Australian history and hundreds of items recovered from all the Dutch shipwrecks off the coast (plus a very good film about the murderous Batavia ship crew)! Highly recommended!
Im also still here cuz I was waiting to get two spare parts for the car delivered from Toyota in Perth: 200 dollars more! Hmm maybe I should sell the car soon before the costs spiral outa control...
Saw "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" in the cinema 2 nights ago: BRILLIANT! A very exciting action flick with many twists and turns in the plot.. plus some amazing stage sets.. great fantasy action flick!
Well its 4pm now... too late for heading off to Perth now so Ill leave that till tommorrow.
While here Ive been camped out beside the beach opposite the lighthouse where they have public showers etc. The winds in this town are really incredibly strong and my van gets rocked back and forth all night long.. the windsurfers love it here though!
