30 at the bottom of the world!
Just a quick message to say thank you to everyone for all the lovely birthday emails and messages. It made me feel a bit closer to home, especially being at the bottom of world in Tierra del Fuego.
Rob and I had a wonderful day drinking 'end of the world' champagne on a boat down the Beagle Channel watching sea lions and penguins, surrounded by snow capped mountains, before going wine tasting and to a swanky restaurant to eat 'king crab.' It's hard this travelling lark you know ;o)
Of course we finished off the day by getting sloshed in an Irish pub and stumbling out of a casino at 4am. Surprisingly, 20 pounds better off. Just like being at home really!
Look forward to seeing you all very soon. We're back in under 2 weeks now.
